Suspect sought in Reno motel shooting

RENO, Nev. (AP) — Reno police are looking for a suspect in an early morning shooting at a motel just east of downtown.

Officers say they saw a green sedan with California plates leaving the area when they responded to the Tahoe Motel on East Fourth Street at about 2:45 a.m. Sunday.

They stopped the car with two men, including one who had suffered at least two gunshot wounds.

The man was taken to Renown Regional Medical Center where his condition has not been released.

Secret Witness is offering a $1,000 reward for information leading to the arrest and prosecution of the suspect or suspects in the shooting.
