OGDEN, Utah (AP) — A 52-year-old man accused of punching another man in a dispute over pew space in Plain City has been ordered to spend 30 days in jail. The Salt Lake Tribune reports Wayne Dodge had pleaded guilty to one misdemeanor assault charge. Weber County deputies say the fight happened last June at a Mormon meetinghouse during a crowded service that included a baby blessing and a missionary farewell.

CEDAR CITY, Utah (AP) — Iron County sheriff's officials have announced a $5,000 reward for information about the death of a woman whose body was found along a dirt road south of Cedar City. Authorities are seeking tips on the killing of 33-year-old Cammi Miller, who was found dead May 9 near an old motocross track. Investigators have ruled the case a homicide but haven't released her cause of death.

DRAPER, Utah (AP) — A prison official says a lockdown remains in place in some Utah State Prison units in Draper after a gang brawl left four inmates injured, including two with stab wounds. Seven others involved in the fighting were taken to secure housing. Prison visits and volunteer activities were suspended until today at the prison's Wasatch, Oquirrh and Uinta facilities.

HEBER CITY, Utah (AP) — Nearly 1,000 people are gathered in forests outside Salt Lake City for an annual counterculture gathering. The U.S. Forest Service says the attendees have arrived in the Uinta-Wasatch-Cache National Forest for the annual Rainbow Family gathering. The attendance is expected to swell to about 10,000 people in advance of their July 4 celebration.
