MOSCOW, Idaho (AP) — Northern Idaho authorities say a 66-year-old Moscow man has died in an accidental shooting.
The Latah County Sheriff's Office says Michael J. Snow died at his home after a .22 caliber pistol fired as he went down some stairs to his basement.
Police say the round struck him in the chest, and that he was pronounced dead in his home at 12:30 p.m. Thursday.
The Sheriff's Office tells The Spokesman-Review (http://bit.ly/1kGFS1q) that Snow's wife discovered the body when she returned home from work.
