SOUTH OGDEN, Utah (AP) — South Ogden police have identified the 93-year-old man killed in a two-car crash that injured three other people.
Authorities say Russell Sylvester died on scene after the Saturn he was driving crashed into another car about 4 p.m. Sunday at the intersection of U.S. 89 and Harrison Boulevard.
Police say the Saturn may have run a red light before hitting a Toyota Avalon turning east onto U.S. 89.
South Ogden police Sgt. Dave Labbe says a 54-year-old man and 53-year-old woman in the Toyota were hospitalized with injuries that didn't appear to be life-threatening.
KSL-TV reports (http://bit.ly/1hSJE35 ) the 92-year-old Vivian Sylvester, who was a passenger in the Saturn, was critically injured.
Police continue to investigate the crash.
