CARSON CITY, Nev. (AP) — The Nevada Highway Patrol says a Carson City man is dead following a motorcycle crash on the I-580 freeway.
The accident happened around 8 p.m. Tuesday just north of 5th Street in Carson City.
Troopers say Kevin M. Purvis was traveling south on the freeway when he apparently lost control of his 1998 Honda motorcycle. Purvis was ejected from the bike and pronounced dead at the scene.
No other vehicles were involved.
