BOISE, Idaho (AP) — Police in Boise say two people are in custody after a man reported being robbed after going to a local hotel to meet in person a woman he had just met online.

Boise Police Department spokeswoman Lynn Hightower says police started investigating the reported robbery at about 9 p.m. Monday.

The man told police that when he went into the hotel room with the woman, a third man emerged and robbed him of several hundred dollars.

Police say the man immediately called police and that they took a man and woman into custody.
