JOS, Nigeria (AP) — In the central Nigerian city of Jos, people are searching for loved ones who are missing after yesterday's twin bombing attacks that left at least 118 people dead. Officials say they expect to find more victims in the rubble. There are concerns that the attack, blamed on Islamic extremists, could inflame religious rivalry in the city, which sits on a fault line dividing the mainly Muslim north from the predominantly Christian south.

TRIPOLI, Libya (AP) — The Libyan government has described a renegade general's offensive against Islamist lawmakers and extremist militias as a coup -- but now, that campaign is getting some support from within the Libyan government. The country's Interior Ministry, along with the U.N. ambassador and the commander of the air force, say they are supporting the general's efforts. He's been leading an armed revolt that is perhaps the biggest challenge yet to Libya's weak central government.

MOSCOW (AP) — Russian President Vladimir Putin says his decision to order troops back from regions near Ukraine was aimed at helping to create a positive environment ahead of Ukraine's presidential vote. In comments broadcast on Russian TV, Putin also referred to the comments from U.S. and NATO officials, who say they aren't seeing any signs of the withdrawal. Putin says they should "look better" -- and that the pullout will be clearly visible in satellite images.

NEW YORK (AP) — Federal authorities have charged at least 70 men and one woman in the New York City area as part of a child porn investigation. The five-week operation has targeted people who use computer file-sharing programs to exchange videos and photos of children having sex. Authorities say the defendants include a police officer, a paramedic, a rabbi and a Boy Scout leader.

EBay owns electronic payment service PayPal, but eBay says there is no evidence PayPal information was hacked.
