SOMA, Turkey (AP) — Turkey's energy minister says the 205 miners confirmed dead following a coal mine explosion and fire died of carbon monoxide poisoning. Rescuers have not as of yet been able to reach the more than 200 miners still trapped as the fire continues to burn. Officials say yesterday's explosion tore through the mine as workers were getting ready for a shift change, which likely raised the casualty toll because there were more miners inside the mine than usual.
