POULTNEY, Vt. (AP) — Vermont State Police say a student who suffered severe injuries after falling from a fourth-floor dormitory window at Green Mountain College had been drinking wine that contained LSD.
The student, 23-year-old Christian Pezzino of Reading, Pa., remains hospitalized in the ICU at Fletcher Allen Medical Center following his fall Sunday.
Police said interviews of friends who were with him said Pezzino was one of five people who drank wine from a bottle that contained LSD. The friends said they knew the drug was in the wine.
Police said Pezzino ran to the end of hall and jumped through a glass window.
