TAHLEQUAH, Okla. (AP) — Northeastern State University in Tahlequah is scheduled to break ground next month on a new student housing project.
The May 2 event on the school's Tahlequah campus will mark the beginning of construction on a four-story residence hall that will have more than 340 beds.
The $15 million project was approved in April by the board of the Regional University System of Oklahoma and university officials say the new facility will be finished late next year.
The new hall will include energy efficient heating, air conditioning and hot water systems.
The project also includes renovations for two other buildings on campus.
