''X-MEN" DIRECTOR ACCUSED OF SEX ABUSE
HONOLULU (AP) — A former child model and aspiring actor is accusing "X-Men" director Bryan Singer of sexual abuse. Michael Egan the Third says in his civil lawsuit he was lured into sex parties in California and in Hawaii with promises of auditions and acting jobs when he was 17 in the late 1990s. Egan does not accuse Singer of luring him into the sex ring, but he says Egan attended the parties, gave Egan drugs and threatened him if Egan didn't have sex with him. Singer's attorney, Marty Singer, says the accusations are an attempt at publicity just as "X-Men: Days of Future Past" is about to come out. Egan's lawsuit does not specify a dollar amount, but he's seeking more than $75,000 on each of four accusations.
