PLEASANT GROVE, Utah (AP) — The discovery of seven dead babies in cardboard boxes in a Pleasant Grove garage has police desperately seeking answers from the mother and other family members about how such a tragedy unfolded over a decade with no one noticing. Investigators say 39-year-old Megan Huntsman is accused of killing her babies after giving birth to the children between 1996 and 2006.

PANGUITCH, Utah (AP) — A Payson man and his two sons were rescued Saturday after being stranded three days in a Garfield County canyon. Wayne County sheriff's deputies say 35-year-old Jason Knight and his 8- and 11-year-old sons were rescued from Sandthrax Canyon, a day after they were reported as being overdue.

SALT LAKE CITY (AP) — An investigation continues into an accident that killed a skateboarder in Salt Lake City. Police say the teenage boy was crossing a street at a crosswalk when he was struck by a truck Friday afternoon. The boy was pronounced dead at the scene.

MILLVILLE, Utah (AP) — The co-owner of a Logan coffee company has died from injuries suffered in an accident involving a suspected drunken driver. Police say 68-year-old Randy Wirth died Saturday from injuries suffered in a three-vehicle collision Thursday in his hometown of Millville. Cache County sheriff's investigators plan to pursue a negligent homicide charge against another driver.
