David Brutsche (brew-SHAY') told the judge he had a lot of time to think in jail and has renounced his adherence to the anti-authority sovereign citizen philosophy.
LAS VEGAS (AP) — The son of a rural Nevada cattle rancher has been freed from federal custody, a day after his arrest by agents working to remove cattle from disputed grazing areas northeast of Las Vegas. The U.S. Attorney's office says that 37-year-old Dave Bundy was arrested as agents were attempting to round up 134 cows northeast of Las Vegas.
SPARKS, Nev. (AP) — Washoe County Animal Control workers will destroy two pit bulls that entered a neighbors' house and killed three pet dogs. Animal Control director Barry Brode says the owner signed the pit bulls over for euthanasia on Saturday. He says the dogs entered the neighbor's home through an unsecured dog door.
LAS VEGAS (AP) — Car rental companies in Las Vegas and other destinations hoping to attract wealthy travelers are adding exotic cars alongside practical Toyotas and Fords. The loaners include Lamborghinis, Ferraris and Aston Martins and will set renters back hundreds or thousands of dollars per day.
