OXFORD, Ohio (AP) — Miami University in southwest Ohio says actor Forest Whitaker will speak to graduates at the school's spring commencement ceremony May 17 in Oxford.
Whitaker won an Academy Award for portraying Ugandan dictator Idi Amin in "The Last King of Scotland." Last year, Whitaker starred in "Lee Daniels' The Butler."
Whitaker also is a film director and producer and does work with humanitarian organizations.
