SALT LAKE CITY (AP) — Police are investigating the death of a Salt Lake City man found floating in a swimming pool at a Salt Lake City community recreation center.

Employees at the Northwest Multi-Purpose Center found the body of 58-year-old Michael Davis in the pool as they arrived at work Thursday morning.

Investigators found pieces of glass next to the pool and believe Davis broke a window to gain entry to the building sometime early Thursday.

They're trying to determine whether he accidentally fell or tripped into the pool.

There were no signs of trauma on the body, which was taken to the Utah State Medical Examiner's Office for tests.
