RENO, Nev. (AP) — Police say a 52-year-old Reno man has died after losing control his car that ended up on its side in the yard of a home.

The single-vehicle accident happened around 9 a.m. Tuesday in the area of Hunter Lake Drive and Plumb Lane.

Police say it appears the man was traveling north on Hunter Lake Drive when he lost control of his 2002 Subaru Forester.

The man was unconscious in the car when officers arrived and efforts to revive him failed. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police say they don't yet know if he died of a medical condition or of injuries suffered in the accident.
