MORGANTOWN, W.Va. (AP) — West Virginia University's law school is holding a discussion about West Virginia and marriage equality.
The Morgantown school says the Tuesday night discussion is being hosted by a student organization that fosters open communication between gay and straight communities and educates individuals on gay rights issues.
Gay rights advocate Evan Wolfson is scheduled to discuss the topic with radio talk show host Hoppy Kercheval.
Wolfson is the founder and president of the marriage equality campaign Freedom to Marry.
He's been involved in landmark marriage equality cases and is the author of "Why Marriage Matters: America, Equality, and Gay People's Right to Marry."
