STOWE, Vt. (AP) — Teams will cross-country ski and snowshoe through the night in the Vermont town of Stowe next weekend to raise money to fight cancer.
The annual American Cancer Society Relay for Life NordicStyle takes place at Trapp Family Lodge on Saturday March 22.
The event starts at 6 a.m. runs until Sunday, March 23, at 6 a.m.
Organizers say this year's event will include many activities, local entertainment, and a Luminaria Ceremony at night, in which candles are lit along the track to remember loved ones.
Former and current cancer patients, families, organizations and anyone who wants to help fight cancer are invited to take part in the team event.
