THE VICE PRESIDENT'S SCHEDULE — The Vice President and Dr. Biden will arrive in Santiago on Sunday, March 9th, and return to Washington, DC, on Wednesday, March 12th.
Highlights:
In the morning, the Vice President will meet with President Juan Manuel Santos of Colombia at the Hyatt Regency Santiago. There will be a pool spray at the top of this meeting.
Later in the morning, the Vice President and Dr. Biden will travel to the National Congress Building in Valparamso, Chile. The Vice President and Dr. Bidens arrival to and departure from the National Congress Building are open press.
12:00 PM LOCAL TIME/11:00 AM ET, the Vice President and Dr. Biden will attend the Inauguration of Her Excellency Michelle Bachelet. This ceremony is pooled press.
