We've shown you cars with all sorts of sensors, and our highways are on the road toward self-driving cars. Now Ford has taken its sensors 360-degrees. This is the automated fusion hybrid research vehicle. The prototype has the normal stuff, like adaptive cruise control, auto parallel parking, and lane-keeping guidance, but it goes further with what it's calling lidar sensors. They use light to bounce off anything within 200 feet. You get a real-time 3D map of your surroundings. They're so sensitive, they can tell if something in the road is a paper bag or a cat from over 100 yards away.

Save your back with technology! The My-Lifter can heave up to 50-pounds and you control it, of course, with your smartphone. This is on Kickstarter right now for $75 and you can add more winches if you need to handle more weight.

Finally, we can safely say, go ahead and drink that fruit punch while wearing a white shirt. This new t-shirt can repel anything. The silica and hydrophobic nanotechnology to make this super soft fabric, and the repellent is effective through up to 80 washes. This reached its funding goal on Kickstarter and you can still get one for about $40.
