WASHINGTON (AP) - Sen. Orrin Hatch says the Obama administration had been "untruthful" before the health care law's troubled rollout.
The Utah Republican told Health and Human Services Secretary Kathleen Sebelius on Wednesday that he wishes she had been honest with the nation about what she knew about computer problems and the millions of insurance cancellation notices that Americans have received. That, he said, counters the president's promise that people who like their insurance can keep it.
"No more excuses," Hatch, the Senate Finance Committee's senior Republican, told Sebelius. Last week before a House committee, Sebelius apologized and took responsibility for what she agreed was "a debacle."
