At Halloween, it's important to keep your pets safe, as well as your kids.
Michelle Keller from Petco brought some adorable dogs and cats to the KSL studios, talking costumes and pet safety during Halloween.
Keller says it's important to monitor your pets, especially if they're in costume. Check on them to make sure other animals don't see your pet as a threat, and they're not trying to eat part of their costume. Also make sure your dog is on a leash if it's out trick or treating with your family.
And when you get the candy back home, don't let your pet eat the candy! Chocolate is especially bad for dogs.
And if your pet stays inside, make sure they feel secure and safe, especially during trick or treating hours.
