HUNTSVILLE, Ark. (AP) - Authorities say a couple from Oklahoma died in a plane crash in northwest Arkansas.

The Madison County Sheriff's Office says 63-year-old Ivan Williams and his wife, 52-year-old Adina Beth Williams, died in the crash this week.

The sheriff's office said it learned on Monday that a plane had disappeared from radar while flying in the southern part of the county. Crews searched for the Piper Saratoga plane and found the wreck Tuesday morning.

The sheriff's office said the Williams were the only people on board.

Tulsa, Okla., television station KJRH reports ( http://bit.ly/16r5ZEe) that the couple lived in Pryor, Okla., and that Ivan Williams bought the plane just over a month ago. It has reported that the plane was headed to Claremore, Okla., from Sylacauga, Ala.
