Wearable devices are all the rage these days. This new headset from Breath Research analyzes what the company calls breath acoustics. It pairs with a mobile app and measures breath pattern, hear rate, and how much oxygen is in the blood. The app will place you on a breathing index and give recommendations on how to improve breathing. The company claims it'll help you reduce stress, lose weight and improve sleep.

We've seen a few inventions to help cyclists be seen. Instead of putting lights on your bike, this company is using your backpack. Seil has a bunch of different signals pre-programmed into its wireless LED lights, which you can easily see through the fabric on the bag. You can also make custom messages. This prototype uses a Bluetooth controller that hooks right to the handlebars. You can get one if the idea gets funded on Kickstarter. It'll cost you about $300.

We've all felt the horror of poorly baking a cake, only to take a bite after serving everyone else, and realize you used salt instead of sugar, or some other awful mistake. The 'Nibble Pan' lets you give your cake a try before you serve it. you just pour a little bit of batter in the cupcake-size slot. It may also be the perfect thing if you're one of those people who just can't wait to try the treat.
