Healthy Utah Magazine connects with local doctors and health experts to discuss relevant health concerns ..... This works for both the local media and the doctor — they get content on current health topics and the doctors get the word out on health issues.... In addition to TV connections, they also distribute magazines to all of the cities they're in so their audience continues to expand and grow..... Healthy Utah has a strong presence in Boise, Phoenix, Denver and Albuquerque, and have their sights set on growing market share in other areas.
The magazine is available in print and online. In Utah alone they have about 6,000 subscribers with an even higher pass along rate in doctor's offices, health clubs and other distribution points .... The focus here is relevant health content, says John Anderson, editor of Healthy Utah Magazine...
Healthy Utah now has 15 employees and also has a vibrant intern program employing around a dozen interns at any given time who spend three to six months collecting health information to share with the magazine and their media partners....Headquarters are in Utah so all the writing and content generation is here, but they reach out to local doctors all across the country from the Utah office...
