PARIS (AP) - The head of a Luxembourg-based investment bank says Dominique Strauss-Kahn will soon take a new job as his company's president _ the latest step by the disgraced former IMF chief to rebuild his reputation.
Chairman Thierry Leyne of Anatevka says Strauss-Kahn will become president on Oct. 18 and the company will be renamed "Leyne, Strauss-Kahn."
Leyne said by phone Wednesday that he wants to parlay Strauss-Kahn's acumen and contacts, which are in growing demand, to his company's benefit.
Strauss-Kahn, 64, was arrested and resigned in 2011 as head of the International Monetary Fund following allegations by a Manhattan hotel maid that he had sexually assaulted her. Those charges were later dropped.
Separately, he faces aggravated pimping charges in France.
