Why is life just so hard? A woman come up to me after a speech and told me her story: "I have a wayward child who is drifting from all the good in the world."
We want to influence others for good. How do we do that? Maybe to influence someone is just to care about them.
I have an uncle that was a big influence on me, and he just took care of me. He made me feel safe. He was an example of what a man was. I don't think he intentionally tried to influence me.
He taught me by example, hard work, community service, concern for others. How do you get others to make better choices and go the straight and narrow?
In order to influence someone, you have to first be influenced by them. Are the keys to influence that simple?
