American scientists have concluded that moderate stress during pregnancy can aid babies' development later in life. Researchers at John Hopkins Bloomberg School Of Public Health in Baltimore, Maryland, quizzed 137 healthy women with normal pregnancies to monitor their stress between the 24th and 32nd weeks of pregnancy. They found that those who reported moderate stress were more likely to have more advanced children by the age of two. (GES/WNWCCB/ES)
