WARWICK, R.I. (AP) - The Rhode Island Medical Examiners Office says autopsies on a woman and young boy found dead in a car in Warwick over the weekend showed no signs of trauma or disease.
Thirty-nine-year-old Kathleen Frink of Warwick and her 3-year-old son, Ryan, were discovered Saturday night in a car at the Fairfax Village apartment complex. Police say they may have been in the parked and idling car for hours.
Officials say they will be getting results of toxicology tests in a few weeks that may show how the pair died.
Warwick police say the car may have been parked at the complex since noon Saturday and no one called authorities until 8 p.m. Frink didn't live at the complex, and it's not clear why the car was parked there.
