BRENTWOOD, Tenn. (AP) -- A lawn equipment manufacturer recalled more than 93,000 lawn tractors Tuesday because the fuel tanks could leak and cause a fire.
Murray Inc. said it has received two complaints of fires caused by the problem but no reports of injuries.
The Consumer Product Safety Commission said the 1.4-gallon tank on several models can crack and leak fuel.
The tractors were sold from 1997 to 2002 at stores nationwide, including Home Depot, for $859 to $1,259.
The model numbers are 40507X8, 42504X71, 42512X99, 425610X99, 40536X4, 42504X99, 42542X6, 425612X99, 405618X81, 42510, 42543X6 and 42575X81.
Consumers should stop using the tractors immediately and contact a Murray service center to have a free replacement fuel tank installed. The company can be reached at (800) 316-1073.
