An email circulating the nation says trees downed by Hurricane Katrina are being turned into mulch and sold at cheaper prices. The problem is, trees from New Orleans could be infested with termites.
Many customers have called The Home Depot and Lowes with questions about this. Both companies say they won't sell mulch made with storm wood or blown down timber.
