If you're wondering where one of Utah's top restaurateurs, Valter Nassi, has landed, I can tell you. His newest Salt Lake City restaurant, appropriately named Valter's Osteria, is located at 173 W. Broadway, or 3rd South, in downtown Salt Lake City. Valter with his business partners, Jeremy Lund and Vic Lund, have renovated Valter's Osteria restaurant, and it's beautiful. When you visit, you'll understand why it's so busy.
Owner and connoisseur Valter Nassi believes it's his obligation to serve and give love. He is one of the most passionate human beings you'll ever meet. Valter has worked abroad and in New York City so he takes all of his worldly food knowledge and delivers it to your plate.
He gets his love for and experience with Italian food from his mama. His earliest memories are of sitting around the family table with his mother serving steaming plates of remarkable homemade Italian food in Valter's hometown of Mont San Sorvino, Italy.
Valter believes everything happens at the family dinner table and through this expression of love, we have Valter's Italian restaurant. At Valter's Osteria, the word is getting out on the homemade ravioli or the angel hair pasta with lemon sauce. Basically, you come here for anything, pasta to fresh fish. After dinner, you can try the homemade gelato, tiramisu or a demi cup of the richest hot chocolate you've ever had, with homemade biscotti.
Not only did the community support him, but he felt protected, so he wants to give the best of his lifelong experience to Utah Valter's Osteria. That's exactly why Forbes Magazine named Utah as the best state for business for three years in a row.
