You heard me say it on the Doug Wright Show I would NEVER EVER stand in line for anything! Well that all changed this morning at 5 am as I lined up in front of a Target Store by my house. This was never in my plans until my friend called me last night and said “I know of 2 locations that will have the Nintendo Wii” my response … No way will I stand in 13 degree weather for of all things a video game system. And much to my surprise…..The alarm went off at 4:30 I run upstairs, brush my teeth wash my face. Dressed in my warm-up pants, my hoodie sweater, and a ski jacket (I am not even sure where it came from) out the door off to Target I went to stand in line with the other crazy mothers and 35 year old man sleeping in a sleeping bag that for some reason is wanting to freeze just so he can turn around and resale it on eBay. I arrive and to my surprise there are only about 16 people there so at this time, I knew I was going to get the “Golden Ticket” and I am happy to let you know I am now the proud momma of a Nintendo Wii and come Christmas Morning and seeing the look on the girls faces, It will be worth the frozen toes, icicles from my nose and the horrible conversations that come with standing in line with a complete stranger for 3 hours.

Merry Christmas!
