Last week I got to hang out with about a dozen women while I was getting dinner ready. Hey, hey, hey – it’s not what you think. I was preparing meals at a place called My Girlfriend’s Kitchen and everyone else in the kitchen just happened to be women – or, “Girlfriend’s as they call them at My Girlfriend’s Kitchen. They called me their “guy” friend.

My Girlfriend’s Kitchen is a brilliant idea. Essentially, it’s a professional kitchen where you can go to make family dinners to take home. But the great thing about My Girlfriend’s Kitchen is that you don’t have to cook anything. You don’t have to shop for food, and you don’t have to clean up any pots, pans, or plates. What you’re really doing is assembling family dinners – they serve from 4 to 6 people – from ingredients and recipes that are already provided for you. You just select some dishes from the monthly My Girlfriend’s Kitchen menu and they’ve already done the shopping, slicing, dicing and any pre-cooking that needs to be done for you.

So in under two hours you can put together a dozen entrees for your family, take them home, and then just heat them up when you’re ready. My Girlfriend’s Kitchen provides all of the recipes, ingredients, storage containers and even labels and cooking instructions for your meals. It’s completely foolproof.

The menu changes monthly and in August dishes like mocha brownie pie, bacon wrapped lamb burgers, tortellini tarantella, and lemon chicken are on the menu. My Girlfriend’s Kitchens are located in Sugarhouse, South Jordan, Ft. Union, and Layton.

So I suggest getting out of your kitchen and into My Girlfriend’s Kitchen. It’s a fast, fun, and economical way to feed the family.
