Hey, do you have plans for next Thursday, November 10th? If not, I have a terrific way that you can feast on food from some of Utah’s best chefs and help out a good cause at the same time. Next Thursday the downtown Hilton will host “Signature Chefs,” a gourmet extravaganza to help raise money for the March of Dimes. As you probably know, the March of Dimes’ mission is to improve the health of babies by preventing birth defects, prematurity, and infant mortality.
Well in addition to silent and live auctions, the Signature Chefs evening will feature gourmet creations from a dozen well-known Utah chefs. And since they’re generously donating their time and their talents, I want to mention each restaurant involved: This years gourmet March of Dimes fundraiser features chefs from Bambara, Blind Dog Restaurant & Sushi Bar, Cucina Toscana, The Goldener Hirsch, The Garden Café at Grand America, The Glitretind at Stein Eriksen Lodge, The Mandarin, Metropolitan, Paris Bistro, Snowbasin Resort, Trofi, and Tuscany. It’s like hitting a dozen of the state’s best restaurants in a single evening!
