The Utah Farm Bureau sponsors two Farmer Markets each week. The Murray Park market is at Murray City Park, 200 E. 5200 S. Fridays and Saturdays August through October, 9 a.m.-2 p.m.
The popular Murray Farmers Market is held in beautiful Murray Park and offers an assortment of organic food, vegetables and fruits. The South Jordon one is 10610 S. Redwood Rd. (1700 W.) Saturdays 8 a.m.-2 p.m. Aug. 4-Oct. 27, 2011. The South Jordan Farmers Market, held at the Jordan Towne Center, offers fresh produce from local farmers. The Utah Farm Bureau is the largest general farm and ranch organization in the state with more than 30,055 member families. Its mission is to improve economic opportunities for the state's farmers and ranchers, ensure America's food security, protect the natural resources of our state, and improve the overall quality of life in the state and nation through political action, educational and informational means.
The Farm Bureau is a nonpartisan, voluntary organization, and its efforts are based on grassroots policies developed by members at the local, county, state and national levels.
