This is Chris Redgrave for Zions Bank Speaking on Business.

Lynn Hancey was only 9 years old when he received his first electronic kit. That's all it took for him to be hooked. He founded one of the oldest electronics businesses in the nation, Lynn's Audio Video in Logan.

This third-generation family business was founded in 1958. Lynn's son, Bret Hancey, is now leading the company as the president, and his three sons have brought it into the next generation. Lynn's Audio Video has stayed strong because of excellent customer service and hyper focus on only electronics. All 24 employees are also passionate about electronics. Over the years Lynn's has become known for keeping their finger on the pulse of the industry to bring in the latest equipment as soon as it's available.

They installed the first car stereo in Cache Valley. This was in the very early days of car radio, and it was a four-track they put in under the dash. They also placed the first satellite and had the first big-screen plasma flat panel TV.

Lynn's Audio Video is also unique with their in-store service department because many electronic stores today don't have one. They install everything they sell and have become known for their expertise. In fact, one day Bret was shopping and saw someone who knew him. They were looking for a TV and asked his advice on which one to buy. He not only helped them decide, simply by sharing the pros and cons of each one, but told them he could sell it to them for less. Needless to say they came to Lynn's Audio Video.

Lynn's Audio Video has made it a point to be selective in the brands they sell. They've even developed some of the major brands locally ... like Sony and Mitsubishi.

One of the important trends at Lynn's Audio Video is a surge of clientele who have purchased at other places and are coming back because of the poor experience. They also believe in helping customers find what best fits their needs and not forcing anything on them.

For Zions Bank, I'm Chris Redgrave, speaking on business.
