He expected a lot from his employees, and if they weren't doing a good job, he'd let them know. In 2003, Keith's son-in-law, Kirk Dean, who was already running two drive-ins, bought the business. Kirk and his wife, Lee, Keith's daughter, have worked hard to carry on his legacy of quality and service at Warrens.
Today, Warrens and Dylans Drive Ins are known for their great quality of food including a few favorites like the Mount Ogden burger, a beef patty with ham, Swiss cheese and Warrens special house sauce. Or their onion rings, hand cut and breaded daily and their deep-friend mushrooms. If you're looking for healthier options, they also have a line of specialty salads and a turkey burger.
Warren and Dylans Drive Ins are the largest independent fast food chain in Davis and Weber counties. They pride themselves on using fresh, local ingredients as much as possible. All their burgers are made from all-natural, fresh ground beef that's never been frozen. They also have a full salad bar with tasty produce. This is how dedicated they are to quality. Just a few years ago, their pastrami supplier went under. They couldn't find the flavor profile they were looking for so they started making their own.
This summer will be the third year when they've offered Summer Nights where you can come into any of their restaurants after 8 p.m. and get half off shakes and drinks. Just drive by and you can see they're packed during the week! People can't get enough of their Lime Rickeys with cranberry juice and fresh lime. Warrens and Dylans Drive In are another example of why Utah is first for our competitive environment.
