Los Angeles, not New York, is truly the city that never sleeps -- at least according to the digital evidence.
In a recent analysis of social media and search behaviors, Los Angeles Internet users were the most likely to mention that they "can't sleep" or are "tired."
The analysis, which was conducted by mattress-maker Beautyrest, tallied activity around about 50 keywords related to sleep, physical health and mental health for one year. It then adjusted for city population to make a fair comparison.
Los Angeles may sleep least, but Las Vegas is the worst-off when it comes to needing a break overall. The overall runner-up is Miami, followed by Austin, Atlanta and Durham.
