This is the last week for Smith's Food & Drug Stores' annual campaign to raise funds to help children at Primary Children's Medical Center. The in-store effort will continue through May 26.
Now in its 20th year, Smith's invites customers from Utah and parts of Idaho, Wyoming and Nevada to join in fundraising activities with store associates. Smith's customers are invited to support store-level fundraising activities such as quilt auctions, carnivals, yard sales and even petting zoos.
Smith's is the largest corporate contributor to Primary Children's Medical Center. Since 1992, Smith's has raised and donated a total of 7.5 million dollars and seeks to raise 500-thousand dollars during this campaign from associates and customers
In 2011, the children's hospital expended 14.3 million dollars to cover nearly 15-thousand hospital visits by needy children. As the only full-service children's hospital in the Intermountain West, Primary Children's Medical Center exemplifies its mantra "The Child First and Always."
Please join us in supporting this great cause.
