SALT LAKE CITY — So far, fans appear to be raving about the much-anticipated movie "The Avengers."

Some fans in Salt Lake City said they were so excited to see the flick that they made costumes to wear while waiting in line for the midnight showing.

Richard Goodner, dressed as Captain America, said, "I've been looking forward to this for four years, and I just love comic books."

Since opening overseas, the Marvel comic superhero mash-up has already made $1 billion in ticket sales.

The Avengers is just the beginning of the summer of spandex! Look for new Batman and Spiderman movies, also.
