LUBBOCK (AP) A JetBlue Airways pilot accused of disrupting a Las Vegas-bound flight when he left the cockpit screaming about religion and terrorists has been indicted.
Court documents posted Thursday show Clayton F. Osbon has been indicted on one count of interference of a flight crew. Its the same charge hes been held on since short after the March 27 incident.
A secretary for Osbons attorney, Dean Roper, says he declines to comment.
Osbon currently is undergoing a court-ordered psychiatric exam to determine whether he was legally sane when passengers wrestled him to the floor after witnesses said he ran through the cabin yelling about Jesus and al-Qaida. It also will determine whether hes can stand trial.
The first officer landed Flight 191 in Amarillo after locking Osbon out of the cockpit.
