As Doug talked about two days ago, parents will not need to be notified. Doug does not think this is fair to all parents. Reproductive care is just too important for parents to remain out of the loop. For a child to get an inhaler in school, it requires the signature of a guardian. How can something as significant as birth control be prescribed without parental knowledge? Those in support of the decision say parents are not doing their job educating their kids or being available to discuss sex without repercussions. Does this describe you?
