(KSL News) A new support group is helping people who suffer from a very common problem: food addiction.
The group is called FA or Food Addicts In Recovery Anonymous. It's designed much like the popular program Alcoholics Anonymous.
People get together to rejoice in each other's successes and share in their failures.
They hold weekly meetings and provide support all of the time. A participant in the program says, "I can pick up the phone and talk to people about whatever is going on in my life, so that I am no longer doing the emotional eating that I was doing before."
There's a local chapter of the group that meets weekly in Utah County. For more information, please go to the related link.
