BOMBAY, Apr 5, 2006 (UPI via COMTEX) -- Two wardrobe "malfunctions" at a recent fashion week in Bombay have both been ruled accidents, clearing the organizers of intentionally planning exposures.
In the first incident, a model's halter top came undone, exposing her breasts briefly. In the other, a model's skirt zipper split, leaving her bare bottom exposed, reports the BBC. She, too, quickly recovered.
The events' organizers were accused of planning the incidents to generate publicity but a police investigation has ruled them accidents.
A state minister commended the models for covering themselves up quickly after the accidents, the report said.
But an opposition party leader told the BBC: "In these fashion shows the majority of the body was exposed and very little was covered. Such exploitation of a woman's body for commercial purposes is not acceptable to us."
