This is Chris Redgrave for Zions Bank Speaking on Business.

Even though we're landlocked, scuba diving is a popular sport in Utah. You may be surprised to discover what a strong following there is. Right now is the time when many people are taking lessons as they plan their scuba diving getaway for 2012, leaving the snow behind.

An experienced diver, Steve Tew is ready to help you prepare for the perfect trip with his business, Blue Frontier Divers in American Fork. This shop covers everything involved with scuba diving from selling and renting gear to training and travel arrangements. It doesn't matter if you're a beginner or an experienced diver, you can still take classes. You'll find all ages, from teenagers to people over 50.

To give you an idea of the experience Steve brings to the table, he's been scuba diving since he was a teenager. He grew up wanting to be a great underwater explorer like Jacques (jock) Cousteau (coo-stow). While working at Delta Airlines for over 20 years, Steve traveled to some of the world's great scuba diving destinations, like the Cayman Islands, Belize and Hawaii.

He likes to tell clients of Blue Frontier Divers some of the world's best creations are underwater so we have to search for them. His favorite destination so far is the island of Palau (poh-low), part of the Atoll Islands in the south. It takes a couple of days to get there, but the trip is worth it. Some of the hardest to reach destinations are the most exciting places to dive.

You don't have to go to remote locations to enjoy scuba diving; plenty of places closer to home are also enjoyable. At Blue Frontier Divers, you can discover some of Utah's fun diving locations, like the Crater in Midway, Blue Lake by Wendover, Bear Lake, Fish Lake, Flaming Gorge or even Tony Grove in Logan. Utah is ranked No. 1 for quality of life.

Steve encourages anyone to come to Blue Frontier Divers and give scuba diving a try because it opens up a whole new world underwater.

For Zions Bank, I'm Chris Redgrave, speaking on business.
