Can you believe the next winter games have started since our Olympics? Four years went by fast. I did a two part series on our games running yesterday and today. I loved doing the stories. Part one focuses on the economic impact of the 2002 games, part two looks at some of the venues today -- here they are if you missed them. I interviewed so many people for the stories. One of my favorite moments was standing at the top of the ski jump at Utah Olympic Park near Park City. It's a 2000 foot drop I'm told. Let's just say I didn't get too close to the edge. John Bennion of the Utah Athletic Foundation took me around the park. I saw the bobsled track where athletes compete and train. Now the public can take a ride -- with a helmet and a driver. It's fast! He told me some celebrities in town during Sundance Film Festivals have taken a turn down the slide. Cameron Diaz, Tobey Maguire to drop a couple names.

I also loved going to the Olympic Cauldron Park by Rice-Eccles. Seeing all the pictures of the events and athletes brought back a lot of memories. I did live shots from there this morning as well. The cauldron will be lit again today!
