Hey if you happened to be wearing a Cutter buck golf shirt last weekend, it very well might have come from Interform. This is a company that sells branding products. If you want your brand on something, they can do it for you. They work with everyone from the largest companies in Utah to mom and pop operations.
These are a couple of humble guys who love their company, their clients, their employees and their country. In fact Jerry Cook was in the Hill Air Force Base program as an honorary commander for the 421st Black Widow Fighter Squadron. He talked as much about how proud he was to be a part of the military as his own company.
He and business partner Mike Hirst started their Centerville company in 1986 making business forms. Whenever they discovered a reason to support their clients by extending their business model, they did it. Their motto is to make it simple, fast and easy. This is working since they've expanded to 50 full-time employees and have hired eight new employees in the last six months.
Interform is contributing to job creation while maintaining job sustainability to help build Utah at a critical time. This is a successful company with strong business practices that grew 20 percent last year alone. The difficult thing about running a company in the branding industry, you have a lot of small startups competing against you, so Mike and Jerry have to take it up a notch. Their company service to clients is paramount. Jerry's philosophy to share with employees is, "If our customers didn't have problems what would we fix?"
When they walked me into their showroom with so many items to brand with your logo including golf shirts, T-shirts, pens and professional notepads, they said, "Remember, you don't want to put your brand on something you wouldn't wear yourself!!"
Another fun business practice is to host a golf tournament to thank clients and vendors. The Interform golf tournament is quickly becoming a do not miss.
