Hamburg (dpa) - Kim Clijsters of Belgium retained her number 1 position in a virtually unchanged WTA Tour rankings issued on Monday.
Clijsters has 3,478 points, the same as last week, and continues to lead Australian Open champion Amelie Mauresmo of France (3,377) and Lindsay Davenport of the United States.
The only movers in the top 10 are Elena Dementieva of Russia, who moves up one place to eighth, and Switzerland's Patty Schnyder, who drops one place to ninth.
