Jane Chaplin, daughter of movie icon Charlie Chaplin, is to write a book about her relationship with her father entitled Seventeen Minutes With My Father.

According to Reuters, Charlie Chaplin had eight children with Jane's mother Oona, who was the daughter of American playwright Eugene O'Neil and was 37 years younger than her husband.

Jane Chaplin reached the age of 17 before she had the chance to have her first proper conversation with her father, reported Reuters.

The book will reportedly be the first to be written by any of the Chaplin children.

Chaplin is still looking to finding a publisher for her book, which is reportedly more than 400 pages in length.
